Let's Play Cadence of Hyrule (Really Poorly)
I love everything about Cadence of Hyrule: Crypt of the NecroDancer Featuring The Legend of Zelda — at least in theory. It features gorgeous pixel art and one of the best video game soundtracks I've heard in years. Here's the thing, though: I'm bad at rhythm games. Like, really bad.
You see, Cadence of Hyrule is basically a mash-up of Crypt of the NecroDancer and The Legend of Zelda. When you're exploring Hyrule and battling enemies, you have to keep in time with the music by moving and attacking with the directional buttons. If you can figure out your enemies' patterns, move in time with them, and keep the beat, you earn more bonuses along the way.
The only thing is that I'm just not very good at it. Watch the video, you'll see. After about an hour of making no progress, I eventually gave up and decided to play whatever else I could find already installed on my Switch. That included Link's Awakening DX, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, and Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order.
Listen, folks, they can't all be winners.
