Let's play Call of Cthulhu: Prisoner of Ice [BLIND] #7 - Time continuum shennanigans + BOTH ENDINGS
This is a full, blind playthrough of the adventure game Call of Cthulhu: Prisoner of Ice, generously given to me by my best friend and first Youtube subscirber ever, qylees. Thank you, my liege!
--------------------------
Timestamps:
00:00 - 07:14 - I flee from one of the Prisoners of Ice, happening upon Dietriech, the captured prisoners and some strange machine
07:14 - 10:20 - After incapacitating the monster with the mystical incantation, I enter the machine myself and am transported through time
10:20 - 16:25 - I learn a crucial piece of (PARKE)R YAN's backstory and a lot of sci-fi hi-tech bullshit. I'm not really impressed.
16:25 - 22:31 - I get stuck for a moment as I try to re-create the freezing gun, which I ultimately do
22:31 - 26:12 - I travel through time to meet with myself (lol) and save myself from death by having the other "myself" kill the enemy in the past. Which has already happened, but is happening just now. Yeah.
26:12 - 29:21 - I talk a little about problems with time travel in fiction, and my feeling about it
29:21 - 32:00 - I solve a qucik riddle to gain access to the fabled Necronomicon
32:00 - 33:35 - I talk with some spectres
33:35 - 38:05 - I deal with Sears, but not before he TELLS ME THE STORY OF HIS LIFE, as is the villain tradition
38:05 - 41:18 - Through trial and error I proceed forward
41:18 - 44:33 - I deal with Dietrich and Narrackamous, ending the game
44:33 - 47:53 - I choose my first ending and watch it, concluding with a rather hillariously soundtracked montage at the end
47:53 - 51:38 - I check out the other ending
51:38 - 59:04 - I talk about the ending(s) and my overall thoughts and feelings on the game, concluding it entirely
--------------------------
Amid an atmosphere of suspense and intrigue you'll launch your voyage in the icy cold wastelands of the Antarctic aboard a Royal Navy submarine - the H.M.S. Victoria. As an American agent of the Office of Naval Intelligence, your mission is to thwart a Nazi plot and recover top secret cargo. Horrific creatures capable of shifting the balance of world power must be conquered. World War II looms ahead and your every move could change the course of history.
As you journey to the seemingly placid surroundings of a Greek courtyard or the secret gardens of Tihuanica, beware - things are not as they seem. This supernatural action adventure is sure to pique your obsession with horror and espionage.
