In this Let's Play video, you will see me play Capes (Full Release Version). Capes is a Super Heroes Tactical Turn-Based game similar to XCOM. Unlike XCOM, it's not focused on base building or expendable soldiers. It focuses Story Heroes and doing Missions to gain SP (skill points) and XP (experience points) for leveling your Super Heroes. The Story Premise is like the TV Show Heroes, where people with super powers are feared and hunted by the "Company". You start off playing with 2 heroes (Facet and Rebound) on your team and recruit new ones as the game progresses. Your SP is a limited resource that is earned from missions which can be assigned to any of your heroes. I really like the Comic Book vibe and art style with the comic bubble dialogues and narration caption boxes. Each heroes have very unique special skills and work really well with each other. The game also has an interesting "team-up" mechanic that allows characters to share/enhance powers when within range of each other. It was definitely a fun and challenging experience playing this game. I recommend adding this to your Wishlist. Enjoy the Long Let's Play.
