Classic games in this sense are, pretty much whatever I consider a classic, usually old and becoming somewhat obscure but trend-setting games.

In Japan, Dragon Warrior is known as Dragon Quest, and it in fact overshadows Final Fantasy in terms of popularity as a series. This is somewhat the opposite of the USA where Final Fantasy is more popular. This is the first Dragon Warrior game ever released as far as I know for the NES. It is a trendsetting game in that it establishes many of the hallmarks of the (J)RPG genre.

This video features the start of a new game, an initial exploration of Tantegel Castle as well as an overview of the town of Brecconary. Then, we fight a bunch of monsters so that we can get the good stuff at the Brecconary armory. I end this video at level 6.
