Time to discover Code Vein, a game from Namco Bandai, before it leaves the Xbox Game Pass on 2/16/2022! I heard some good things about this game and really wanted to try it out, unfortunately I feel a bit mixed with the results. On one hand, I like the anime style and the fact they tried a very dark atmosphere (I can definitely tell it has a Dark Soul kind of charm to it), on the other hand I felt the gameplay a bit clunky (although I can see how it could become much more attractive after a while) and I found the graphics uneven. Hence my verdict is mixed, but it's still a pretty interesting type of game and I feel with more time on it, it may become much more attractive.
