Let’s Play Corruption 2029 | Really Sneaky XCOM
Corruption 2029 is the next game from the tactical wizards behind Mutant Year Zero, and is another mix of stealthy strategy and turn-based battling. It may look like XCOM when it all kicks off, but the magic is in the moment before battle: where you creep, ambush and whittle down the numbers before things get messy. So enjoy today’s Rock Paper Shotgun livestream as we enjoy some Corruption 2020 gameplay (PC).
We are still working on a full Corruption 2029 review on Rock Paper Shotgun: The Site, so we hope this live test will give you an idea of what to expect. It’s very similar to Mutant Year Zero in its focus on freeform movement to set up an angle of attack and picking off stragglers who wander from the herd. We really loved Mutant Year Zero so we imagine our Corruption 2029 review will be similarly glowing. These are just Corruption 2029 impressions based on the first 90 minutes or so, so apologies if we don’t drill deep into the mechanics.
This is Corruption 2029 PC gameplay - the game is currently available on the Epic Game Store and no other platforms. Will it come to consoles? Mutant Year Zero did, so maybe it’ll happen. We’ll be using a controller in this Corruption 2029 let’s play - it’s how Matthew played MYZ, so he’s more comfortable with that.
If you have any questions about Corruption 2029, bang them in the chat as we go along and we’ll have a good old time. If you want to kill the time between now and then, why not watch our walkthrough of the Mutant Year Zero DLC - should give you a taste of the action to come. Thanks for watching!
