Counter Unions 3D: Heroes Legend is a modification for Command & Conquer: Generals - Zero Hour made by a team of Chinese modders. It features a remake of the campaigns from Command & Conquer: Red Alert 2, as well as its own campaign.
The mod recreates the Allied and Soviet factions from said game, and also features the Bactrians, alien conquerors from the Gradius franchise. On top of that, elements from other franchises such as King of Fighters, and powerful heroes in style of WarCraft II and Dota.
Vic Viper and Lord British, ships from the Gradius series, can be controlled in certain sections of the campaign. These sections function like a top-down versions of their shmup templates, complete with power-ups, options, boss fights, and space segments to build up the ships.
