96As far as ways to pass on the reigns of power go, that's certainly one of the more peculiar ones. However we have entirely new objectives now as the primary Maelor dynastic line does not like ruling as a vassal of others. This means that we need to start scheming for our independence along with any other vassals of the Byzantine empire that wish to join us.
I may not be able to rip the empire apart but I can at least leave my mark by having various dynastic cadet lines remain within the empire. With luck one of them may be able to gain power by themselves but that is not for me to get involved in directly. The seat of power for my line of kings has once again return to Gwynedd and there it shall stay.
Unless I take over another empire within the next hundred years.
