Let's play Dark Archon - Invasion - 1st Part - Lords of Polis
1For the third chapter of this game, we will join Sir Driscoll of the Lords of Polis.
Story: Serpiente, one of the Yaotl's former brothers and stone generals is rebuilt and ressurected to joins the Lords of Polis (Forever Knights) in their battle against Archonians.
Again, why should I explain anything for level 1, when you know what to do.
Level 2 - A Power Failure
Story: Lords of Polis general Talamentes (in Avenger Ship) has lost power. Serpiente must protect him from asteroids and attackers, until his ship is repaired.
Gameplay: Protect your teammate until his ship is repaired. Ally support warp-in is a very handy power-up for this kind of levels. When collected, random allied ship will come to your aid.
Level 3 - The Chase
Story: Lords of Polis must discover location of local Archonian spaceport, since Serpiente aided general, she will spy on Archonians by following patrolling merg ship.
Gameplay: This time, you are hunter, but don’t get too excited. In this „chase“ mission, you must follow patrolling enemy ship. If you get too close, you will be spotted, or if you get too far, you will lose ship’s signal. Also do not pick Ally support warp-in, because, if you do, your teammate will rush to destory patrolling ship, resulting in failure of the level.
Level 4 - The Delivery
Story: Serpiente must deliver the location of the spaceport to general Talamentes, who is waiting him at nearby space station.
Gameplay: Same thing as any normal chase level, go to specific location and hurry.
Level 5 - Protect the General
Story: Serpiente and General Hammond set out to deliver the information to Lords of Polis spaceport. Serpiente will have to be General Hammond’s bodyguard during the mission, since his engines work at half capacity, and his weapons are disabled.
Gameplay: Flamethrower is secondary weapon for Lords of Polis, powerful short-ranged weapon useful for destroying swarms of enemies who are close to you.
Level 6 - On the Run
Story: Archonian ambush is left do destroy General Talamentes and Serpiente, General Talamentes will sacrifice himself while Serpiente runs to safety.
Gameplay: Power up engines to escape and secondary weapon to protect yourself.
Level 7 - Unknown Origin
Story: Archonians have fled when Serpiente found the space station of unknown origin.
Gameplay: This is same boss as the one from first boss level in Black Faith campaign, do the same what you did from first boss level in Black Faith campaign.
