Let's play ArkLight - Part 5 - Final battle
3Level 41: Savaria City
Story: As our heroes get closer to the Krainian Empire’s main base, their enemies: Tarb, Herbert Wade, Shadow Prove, Mephisto, Alister, Blackarachnia and Bela of the Krainian Empire will be more highly concentrated.
Gameplay: This level starts with Spinners, then Tanks, after them Fireflies jump into the fray, then you get to face Turrets, and you finish off with Jumpers. All types of MetaCubes are in this level.
Level 42: Glanum City
Story: Vestals had to hide smart bombs in Glanum. Esmeralda must track them and destroy Indestructible MetaCubes quickly.
Gameplay: Same as on Salacia and Toletum
Level 43: Lupiae City
Story: Lupiae has turned into temporary storage area for Shadow Prove’s Werewolves and their Fireflies. They attack from small dead end alley ways where they are stored.
Gameplay: Similar to level on Myrtilis. Krainian Fireflies will try to ambush you from the dead ends.
Level 44: Scodra City
Story: Cities surrounding main base of Krainian Empire are used to store all sorts of their technology. Scodra stores large MetaCubes. Esmeralda must watch for Indestructible MetaCubes.
Gameplay: Lots of MetaCubes are in this level. Double Fire power up allows you to fire two shots at once, but that will consume a lot more energy.
Level 45: Drobeta City
Story: Our heroes are very close to the main base of the Krainian Empire. Drobeta is heavily fortified. Esmeralda must think fast and power up energy spheres.
Gameplay: Hard level, you move fast, and there are lots of big MetaCubes, but only few enemies.
Level 46: Silva City
Story: Silva is the last city between our heroes and main base of Krainian Empire. They chose this city as their last defence because its very hard to navigate and its heavily fortified.
Gameplay: Very hard level, lots of MetaCubes and enemies will block your way. This is also final level outside enemy domain.
Level 47: Krainian Armory
Story: Esmeralda is now in the main base of Krainian Empire. Radar is being jammed and Vestals now cannot help Esmeralda further. But they will keep tracking her and will stay in contact.
Gameplay: Now that you are in heart of enemy base, you must destroy everything you spot.
Level 48: Krainian Laboratory
Story: ArkLight’s Transponder is telling Vestals that Esmeraldais still alive. Those are fantastic news, now she must proceed to the very end.
Gameplay: All I can say now is that things are starting to get repetitive.
Level 49: Krainian Research Facility
Story: Vestals cannot believe that Esmeralda is still alive, nor they can imagine what horrors is she facing deep in heart of Krainian Empire’s main base. They only wish that there is a way they could help her more.
Gameplay: The final level with enemy craft, gather all of your courage and destroy the enemies down to their last unit.
Level 50: Krainian Throne
Story: The ArkLight’s transponder is telling Vestals Esmeralda reached the heart of Krainian Empire’s main base, and now the final battle between her and Zenoheld, Krainian High Commander can finally begin. The final thing that Vestals say to her is „Good luck, and we will see you on the other side!“
Gameplay: This is it, the final level, its the boss fight. Boss can charge you, fire two bullets, deploy mines and MetaCubes. Pick up energy regeneration and charge your shots to win.
End of story of ArkLight
Zenoheld, the Krainian High Commander’s defeat has caused her and the rest of the Krainian Forces to retreat from planet Vestal.
Worldwide, the remaining MetaCubes are being torn down as once again Vestals are free. Battle with Krainian Empire on Vestal is over, now the battle with Krainian Empire on planet Arcanum, homeworld of Rainbow Kingdom has to begin, and only the chosen heir of the Rainbow Kingdom can defeat the Krainian Empire once and for all.
The continuation of battle with Krainian Empire awaits you in my revision of Chicken Invaders 3.
