We fight the Covetous Demon ourselves. Nothing much to say about it. It leaps, rolls, flops, and chomps. Just back away whenever it pauses and you should be fine. There is a weird baiting mechanic involving the jars hanging above. Break them and hollows will drop down and the Demon will go after them first to eat. Not really necessary for such an easy fight.

We join the Heirs of the Sun. This is a PvE covenant where it replaces your usual White Signs with Gold Signs. They function essentially the same but you are rewarded with Sunlight Medals instead of Marks. You can also get these medals by summoning Heirs to help you instead. Very easy covenant to grind up.

And we talk to a bunch of NPC's new and old.
