5We head to the bell tower and join the Bell Keeper covenant.
The bell towe is an interesting area. Anyone (including members of the Keepers) who enter the tower can be invaded by up to two gray phantoms. Those phantoms are members of the Bell Keepers and their job is to kill you for invading their tower.
The Gray Phantoms cannot use items but can still use the Heal spell if they have it. Other than that, they are just like any other player.
As a member of the Bell Keepers, you can equip their ring while in Iron Keep, Shaded Woods, and Lost Bastille to have a chance to be called to invade another player in the bell towers. Successfully killing the player will get you a Titanite Chunk and it also counts towards ranking up.
Overall its a pretty fun convenant. This covenant was my first introduction to pvp.
