6We jump down a hole and enter Rat King territory. Unless a member of the Rat King Covenant, you can be summoned into a covenant member's world and be hunted upon entering this territory.
The goal of the covenant is to kill invaders. The main difference is you are summoning the invaders which puts you in all the usual risks of dying in your own world.
The idea is to use your territory to gain an advantage. Unfortunately depending on the territory, the traps you can activate provide either no benefit or too much of a benefit.
Royal Rat Vanguard is just a stronger rat who comes after you kill enough of the rat swarm.
We join the rats then proceed into the gutter.
