0Well, this place deserves its reputation. This is simply not fun. I would say that about a lot of areas and design choices in DS2 as a whole, to be honest. As hard as they were, as many "are you kidding me?!" moments as I had, Demons' Souls and Dark Souls 1 were always, at the end of the day, fun to play. When I beat terribly hard areas in those games, I felt good about it, like I had learned and triumphed over a difficult but fair challenge. I didn't get that feeling nearly as often in DS2; more often than not, I just felt like playing an area was torture, and I was only glad when I finished out of a sense of relief that it was over. I know this game has its defenders, and it definitely isn't *bad*, but it just doesn't have that indescribable high of triumph I felt after beating the first two.
This video marks the completion of all the game's content. There will be a few more episodes of covenant farming to get all the spells one can possibly get in NG, and then we'll be moving on to a new game.
