Let's play Days Gone on Playstation Now before it is gone by January 2021. Days Gone is an action game developed by the team who brought Syphon Filter (SIE Bend Studio), the game being set in Oregon (where the company comes from, Bend being a city in Oregon). Overall the game deals with a pandemic where you have Freakers (horde of zombies) terrorizing the world; you play with Deacon, who in the introduction decided to leave Sarah to be hospitalized and went with Boozer, his friend, worried he couldn't make it in the chaos. 2 years later, we have Deacon and Boozer living in a post apocalyptic world riding bikes. The story starts with someone betraying them and leading to know more about the world around them.
I was very surprised by the quality of the graphics, the game is stunning; and the music wasn't bad either, the title screen had a very soft sad music. I liked the beginning on the bike, and you can see the game has lots of mechanics you can upgrade. I found it weird gameplay wise to always hold buttons to do an action, but it still works fine.
All in all, I actually liked playing for 30+ minutes the game, and I was surprised learning the team that made it also made Syphon Filter, a stealth game I really liked at the time on PSX. I hope showing the Playstation Now version shows you how much the system works rather well and that you will give it a try.
