Let's play Dead Cells on Playstation Now before it's gone from the service in 1/31/2021. Overall Dead Cells is what is a called a metroidvania, an action platformer game with some RPG mechanisms. Every time you die on this game, you start back from scratch with a whole new map of the dungeon (also called a roguelike game). I love the art style, this pixelated world with some light and shadow effects here and there. The gameplay is pretty straightforward with 3 main types of skills: brutality, tactics and survival. I feel this game is not necessarily done for me as it is mostly about surviving more than being about the story, but it is pretty much enjoyable...and yes, my gaming skills are not very good so "it looks like I had a bad time with it" ;).
