We do a sidequest in Mulatina which doesn't involve combat then we meet Evelyn again who asks us to head back to the Royal Library where we fight new enemies (Librarians) and Carol.

Interestingly, the sidequests doesn't show Liliana, Chelsea, and Zhara despite me having them. I guess DID Games designed the scenes for progression before Chapter 12. It's similar to show Didnapper doesn't show characters when they aren't canonically available (such as Athena and Evelyn in Haab Desert or Evelyn in Ghiaccio Village) which is most noticeable in Pirate Bay where the game's scenes act as if you only brought Suki.
