Using a Nintendo Switch controller with Hogwarts Legacy (PC)

Something I discovered with Hogwarts Legacy is that the game supports the Nintendo Switch controller which is reflected by the button prompts turning to Nintendo buttons and the Control Options screen showing a Nintendo Switch Pro Controller instead of the Xbox One Controller. The game plays similar to the Xbox Controller except the position for the face button is different from Xbox and PlayStation (i.e., Use is the top button instead of left). The controller I used is the PowerA Pokémon controller that is sold in Target.

It seems interesting that Nintendo Switch controller support is coded in the Windows version since Switch controllers aren't officially supported for PC, but the Switch Controller assets wouldn't be a surprise since the game is planned to be on the Switch which would likely be used for the Nintendo Switch version. It reminds me of how the PlayStation exlcusive content (Haunted Hogsmeade) was said to be in the PC version when it came out (I believe the quest is removed but Felix Felicis is still in the game) and the early versions (at least in March 5, 2023) had the blue glow to where the door of the Haunted Hogsmeade shop would be when you casted Revelio (currently, it doesn't appear anymore).

I don't know what happens if a "multiplatform" controller that support Nintendo Switch (e.g., the Retro Fighters Defender for PS1/PS2) is used with Hogwarts Legacy (i.e., will it show up a Switch Pro Controller?).
