Seles' party prepares to confront Elize, but fights Zhara who is trying to protect Elize. After defeating Zhara, they confront Elize who reveals things like Seles' dead mother and the civil war that led to corruption. It's revealed that Elize has been using Zhara all this time through the game. The party battles her but as she gets weakened, she suddenly transforms due to the Exceed. Zhara promptly attacks her but Elize strikes her with a spell that knocks her out. Despite being a strong opponent, Seles' party manages to defeat Elize. Eileen heals Zhara and Seles manages to convince Zhara to join her which she does.
Compared to Krystina in Didnapper, Elize is an improvement in difficulty although her corrupted form can be brutal due to her strong attacks, resistance to Chroma aside from Water, and the constant HP loss every turn. However, you can somewhat cheese the battle if you use Burning Daylight or the Plague Crystal since Elize isn't immune to Burning and Poison.
