Let's Play Digimon World: Next Order (Japanese) Part 38 - Clearing Chapter 3
Continuing on from the previous part, I head up to the pink house at the top of bony resort to advance the plot.
Falling right into the trap Mameo set up for him, MetalEtemon gets trapped in a cage.
Frustrated and humiliated at falling for this trap, MetalEtemon calls in the enforcer to fight us.
To the surprise of nobody, the enforcer is pretty damn strong!
He knocks my digimon out before I even had a chance to use ExE cross evolution! (Fail!)
But after reloading the game and getting through the cutscene again, I manage to get my digimon to evolve into Rosemon BM.
The fight still goes on for a bit, and I even needed to use a recovery disc just to be safe! But in the end, my digimon defeat the enforcer.
With the enforcer defeated, MetalEtemon has nowhere to run.
It is here where Luche, Mirei, Himari and Rikka show up.
The traitor is revealed in this scene by MetalEtemon yelling at Luche for giving him false information about a super weapon.
Despite it being clear that the false information that MetalEtemon got was from Luche, she denies being a traitor.
And from the way she reacts to things, she probably had no idea what was going on.
As everyone talks about Luche, the true antagonist finally steps in.
The main antagonist turns out to be Shoma Tsuzuki, the guy who won that tournament that the other main characters entered years ago.
He is a bit of an edgelord, wanting to destroy this world in order to create a new one.
He also has company in the form of Kuzuhamon and Samudramon.
They appear to be loyal to Shoma.
Samudramon shows off his power by easily taking down the weakened inforcer, commenting that the enforcer is weaker than he thought. (Well they did just got defeated by us, so of course they would be weak!)
After talking about his dumb plan to break down the boundaries between worlds, Shoma leaves.
Having failed them by going off on his own and getting caught, MetalEtemon is sentenced to death.
Samudramon sees him as too weak to be worth his time, so Kuzuhamon is the one to kill MetalEtemon off.
They all leave after that, with the main characters unable to do anything to them.
Returning to the city, everyone talks about what the plan is going forward.
Mameo reveals that they have a plan to essentially reboot the digital world in order to rid it of the BH program.
In order for this plan to work, we need to get the enforcer on our side.
It seems the enforcer is also needed by the enemy in order for their plan to work too.
Despite being faced with powerful enemies, everyone remains determined to make this plan work.
It is here where Yukimura finally digivolves to Gallantmon, their mega form.
The last things to take away from this cutscene are that Mirei will be examining Luche to see how the enemy got their information from her, and we have to once again bring more digimon to the city!
So with all of that out of the way, what will happen next? Find out in the next part!
