Welcome back to the third episode in my Let's Play series of Discworld, the 1995 point-and-click adventure game based on Terry Pratchett's beloved novels. In this episode, I continue to muddle my way through Act II, complete with dragons, secret brotherhoods, and an octopus in a custard-filled toilet.

It seems the dragon residing in Ankh-Morpork is not your average fire-breathing menace. In fact, she requests Rincewind's help to break free from the clutches of a sinister secret brotherhood that summoned her to the city in the first place. These miscreants are using her for nefarious purposes and planning to unleash chaos upon the streets of Ankh-Morpork. Naturally, our bumbling wizard is up to the task, but as always, he'll need to navigate a web of inscrutable puzzles to succeed.

To liberate the dragon, Rincewind must first uncover the identities of the secretive brotherhood members. How will he do that, you ask? Well, in a stroke of luck, Rincewind learns of a stolen book on summoning dragons from the library at Unseen University. Thanks to his access to L-Space (yes, time-traveling is becoming a recurring theme), our wizard travels into the past to witness the brotherhood's summoning ceremony. From there, it's just a matter of retrieving a gold item from each of them. Sounds simple enough, right?

Get ready for more wandering conversations with quirky characters, mind-bending puzzles, and enough laughter to shake Ankh-Morpork to the its core. With Eric Idle's brilliant voice bringing Rincewind to life, you can rest assured that this adventure will be one for the ages.

ABOUT ME
I'm Jess (he/him), a lifelong gamer and retro variety streamer from West Virginia, USA. I mostly play adventure games from the '80s and '90s (think King's Quest and Monkey Island), but I also stream newer titles, bad licensed games, and other random stuff that grabs my attention. Lately, I've been obsessed with catching up on the Zelda series. I stream on Twitch every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday night around 9:30 p.m. Eastern. Drop by and join the fun sometime!
