Breakdown is my favorite map from Doom 64 and also has my favorite "music". There is an infamous secret that has gone undiscovered in this level (due to it not existing in the final version of the game...which is sad) that was first referenced in this interview with the level designers http://www.doom2.net/~doomdepot/abs-d64interview.html

The bulk of the investigative work was done by the Doom64 guru himself, Kaiser, back in 2008. He's the one the deconstructed the level from the original ROM and found the suspicious but inactive elements in the level.
