Well, this was unexpected!

Since I got my computer back from California, turns out my computer had its hard drive wiped, so I lost the whole story modes for Teen/Adult Gohan and Vegeta. So to avoid burnout from Budokai 3, I'm sidetracking to Shin Budokai for a bit.

Shin Budokai is an... oddity. It's an original story mode set 2 years after the Kid Buu fight that's a loose retelling of Fusion Reborn. On the one hand, the gameplay is fantastic! However, the story gets... bizarre, and pretty heavy on fanfiction. Is it still good? I'd say so, even in spite of Broly ON THE FRONT COVER IN A GAME HE ISN'T RELEVANT IN.
