Loving this game! It does have issues. But it's SO much fun, and a beautiful evolution of the previous game's systems.

Some notes:

First: I streamed this on PC using a Ryzen 9, and yes, it definitely has performance issues! If you watch the VOD here, you'll see that. In more populated areas there were times where OBS just got overwhelmed because unfortunately, OBS Studio and Dragon's Dogma 2 both want to use the CPU heavily. When the two of them fight over resources, a streamer is always the one who loses regardless of which program wins.

Fortunately Capcom is aware of the issue, and HOPEFULLY they can fix it soon. But I am loving the game, so even if it takes a while, I'll be here when it's taken care of.

Second: It's important to note that yeah, for some reason there's a collection of microtransactions you have the option to pay real money for in this game. But it's exactly that - an OPTION. I don't think it was well understood immediately when the game launched that you could get all of those same benefits/effects/items naturally in the game without paying extra real money for them, but you can.

In conclusion: I will not be focusing too much on this game until the patches fix some of the performance issues, because I basically have to avoid cities entirely for it to remain playable. But aside from that, there's a ton of fun to be had here.
