Let's Play Dungeons Of Dredmor - Ep. 1 - Get Down There And Kill
This is an awesome game that I picked up roughly half a year ago. I was deep in several other games at the time and only played this a few times and only briefly. I didn't give it much of a chance and like most others I was pretty awful terrible at it. I think I played it maybe for 2 hours, I died like 5 times and gave up.
WELL, putting FOCUS into this game makes all the difference. I sat down determined to figure out the mystery that is Dungeons of Dredmor and I found a truly amazing, if not simplistic game. Don't get me wrong, there is plenty of depth to the game, excellent writing in the item descriptions and posters and skills and such. It has a lot of customization options on how you want your character to work, both in items and in skills. It's simplistic in the fact it doesn't need big money graphics to deliver big money fun. Give the game a go and stick with it for a bit. Give it a real chance before you walk away, I'm sure you'll be glad you did.
All that being said this is my first attempt at a Let's Play through it. I honestly can't promise I will do a very good job, in fact I am certain I will do poorly. I can, however, give it my best shot and hopefully give you all some entertaining times and a good feel for the game. I am going with a different build than I have tried in the past and if I manage to do okay, I may make this a weekly thing. So I will leave you with a brief part of the steam description of the game and the link to find it on steam as well as Gaslamp Games website, as I go off to play some more. :) I hope you enjoy!

Long ago, the Dark Lord Dredmor was bound in the darkest dungeons beneath the earth by great and mighty heroes. Centuries later, the magical bonds that hold him in place are loosening and his power grows ever stronger. The land cries out for a new hero, a powerful warrior or a mystic wizard like those spoken of in the prophecies of yore.
What they have, unfortunately, is you...
