Empire Earth II: The Art of Supremacy is an expansion pack for Empire Earth II. Like the base game, it was developed by Mad Doc Software, and published by Vivendi Universal Games and their subsidiary Sierra Entertainment. It was first released on February 14, 2006 for Windows.
The expansion adds four new civilisations, France, Russia, the Maasai, and Zulu, with the latter two being part of the new Africa region. Also new are, among other things, hero units, which raise from units destroying a certain amount of other units, as well as neutral native tribes, with whom can players can go to war or form alliances.
Empire Earth II: The Art of Supremacy also features three new campaigns. The Egyptian campaign focusses on a period of crisis in the third millennium B.C., the Russian campaign ton the war against Napoleon, and the Maasai campaign - which is set in the future - on Africa's struggle to break free from internal strife and foreign exploitation. Two new Turning Points scenarios were added as well.
The Art of Supremacy received a mixed reception. Critics liked the new features, but noted that they ultimately did not add enough to the base game. The new civilisations and campaigns were described as generic, and the expansion as lacking excitement overall.
