The goal in Episode Five is to start manufacturing some Silicon, and then into High-Purity Silicon. From that we will use what we have to make some Microcrystalline Components.

Again, this is early game and without proper access to Silicon Nodes, the process of creating Silicon is tedious and inefficient. Early on you have to smelt Stone into Silicon Ore at a 10:1 ratio. So for a build of 90 High-Purity Silicon you would require 1800 Stone/min, which is 5 Yellow/MK. I belts or a full Blue/MK. III Belt.

The final result I end up with is 1 Assembler crafting 18 MC Components per minute. It's probably better to push to red science and unlock New Planets and harvest Silicon from other worlds (directly from a Silicon Node).
