It is not often my wont to follow up on the weird bastardizations of animal names in this game, but I looked up Eohip because it's so weird, and it turns out it's an abbreviated form of Eohippus, more commonly known as Hyracotherium, a small dog-like creature that is—surprise, surprise—the first known horse!
