The Fairly Oddparents: Breakin' da Rules is a single-player action game developed by Blitz Games (for PS2, GameCube, and Xbox), Helixe (for GBA), and Gorilla (for PC), and published by THQ. It was released on November 3rd, 2003.
The director for the game was Jon Cartwright, and the producer was Team Phoenix. The designer was Scott West, the composers were John Guscott and Matt Black, and the artists were Marc Buckingham and Nadine Mathias.
The programmers were Claude Dareau, Philip Palmer, Nigel Higgs, John Weeks, and Ian Bird. This game was made using the BlitzTech Engine.
Tara Strong returned to voice Timmy Turner in the game. Susanne Blakeslee voiced Wanda and Mom, Daran Norris voiced several characters (Cosmo, Dad, Jorgen von Strangle, Crimson Chin, Anti-Cosmo). Grey DeLisle voiced Vicky, Tootie, Nicky, Spatula Woman, and the Creme Puffs. Gary LeRoi Gray voiced AJ. Jason Marsden voiced Chester and Male Shopper.
Carlos Alazraqui voiced Crocker, Juandissimo, Mayor, and Country Boy. Faith Abrahams voiced the Female Shopper. Laraine Newman voiced Alien Queen Jippjorrulac. Rob Paulsen voices King Grippulon, Dog Catcher, Fairy Judge, Guard, Anti-Fairies, Squirrelly Scouts, Arthur, and Gilded Arches.
This game received primarily mixed reviews. IGN scored the game a 5/10, while Metacritic gave the GameCube a 64%, and the PS2 version a 60%. On GameRankings, the PS2 version received a 73%, the GameBoy Advance version received a 64%, the GameCube version received a 61.5%, and the PC version received a 40%.
