1It's difficult to keep up with feedback if I am so far ahead so here is the last of the group's progress. This is the start of Chapter Two. I do advise in taking Agrias and Gafgarion's stuff, it can give you a bit of a boost at the start of the chapter.
Chapter Two is a bit harsh in starting with a battle with no opportunity to shop but thankfully this battle is far less annoying than the Content patch. Content patch had Archers on the roofs (which you normally can't reach without things like Ignore Height, Teleport, alot of Jump, etc) that rain down break weapon attacks and two Priests with Holy. The original has none of that nonsense.
After the initial fight though, you are free to move around. I suggest going West first to pick up a some gear that may need (like a Spear for a Lancer).
