We find that stupid chocobo again. We also find stupid Delita again.

Boco was in the original version of Tactics but was only a normal Yellow Chocobo who's only benefit was to act as either a mount, healer, or egg factory (yes, Boco layed eggs which would become new chocobo party members). With the patch, Boco is a White Chocobo is a class with its own ability type. Unfortunately, it already knows everything it will ever know just like all monsters. But, it has decent abilities including Monster Skill.

For the second battle, if you took all of Gafgarion's gear, he would be without any gear in the battle in the original version. With the patch, they give Gafgarion gear as well as upgrade his skills so he can actually put up a fight. Not much else to say about the fight.
