With new party member Faris in tow,the party arrives at the Wind Shrine. Here they find some of King Tycoon's men near the entrance,and they tell Lenna that her father has not yet returned from the Crystal chamber. They also say monsters have infested the floors above as well. There's a jar nearby that'll heal you if needed,and one of the dudes nearby will give you some Potions for talking to him. Make your way upstairs in the Wind Shrine,fighting your way through monsters as you go along. There's a save point on the 2nd floor. Make sure to use it,as the first boss of the game is right around the corner. Make sure to equip Galuf with a Broadsword if you find a 2nd one in a chest here. Boss: Wing Raptor. Not much to it here,just keep attacking until it goes down. It does have the special attack Breath Wing which hurts the whole party,so use Potions if needed. After the fight,upstairs the party finds the Wind Crystal has been shattered to pieces. However,they also gain the crystal's essences,becoming the Warriors of Light. King Tycoon appears briefly to ask the party to protect the 3 remaining crystals before he vanishes. You now have the ability to change jobs! You start with the Knight,Monk,Blue Mage,Thief,White Mage,and Black Mage classes. Take some time to pick out what jobs you want,then it's time to leave. If you backtrack the long way out,you can find a hidden chest with a Staff downstairs if you have a Thief with you. Once you're out of the Shrine,sail the ship west to the town of Tule. The Greenhorn's Club is here,and you should check out at least once to grab the items inside. At the Pub,you can find a Piano that Bartz can play. Most towns have one,so make sure to search each one so you can level up your piano skills. Make sure to visit the Magic Shop and buy all the level 1 white and black magic there for your mages. There's also a Weapon and Armor shop,but they likely won't have much that you'll need at this point. The party will rest for the night at Zok's house,and Bartz will end up getting the Key to the Torna Canal in the end.
