Let's Play Mega Man X7 Part 1
3It...begins I guess? The Mega Man game nobody asked for. Not even X,considering he isn't playable until at least halfway through the game. This entry in the series did not transition to 3D very well,and being bogged down by terrible voice acting did it no favors either. This will be played on NG+,where I'll already have X unlocked from the start,have all his Glide Armor parts acquired,and have most of the power-up chips collected for X Zero and Axl. Taking on just the opening stage in this bit,and you get to see a bunch of cutscenes. Basically X is tired of fighting,and decided he's just gonna sit on a bench back at the Hunter base. Axl was part of the mercenary group Red Alert,but left for various reasons. Axl has the ability to copy the forms of other Reploids that are roughly his size. After teaming up with Zero to defeat a Maverick Mechaniloid,Axl is brought to the Hunter Base for questioning. Before long though,Red Alert issues a challenge to the Maverick Hunters: Beat all of their Mavericks,and they'll let them keep Axl. Now they have no choice but to fight.
