Here we go ladies and trolls. Let the game begin.
A rundown of how this LP will go: I will not grind, I will find all the treasure, I'll probably get teary-eyed ~4-10 times. I'll have funny stories and memories, I'll review the game fairly and point out its flaws while presenting its exceptionalities as well.

How does our story start off? I spend most of the intro actually talking over the words... so you can rewind and read that stuff if you like. In summary though, 1000 years ago there was peace between Humans and Espers... a sort of "Mutant" like X-men really. People with extra powers. Eventually they didn't get along too well and the War of the Magi started, which decimated the world, caused Espers to flee to their own realm, and set humans back centuries in their development.

Present day: The Empire is acquiring small sources of magical power, hunting down Espers and trying to become an unstoppable force, at any cost. Think of the Cuban missile crisis, two sides are on the brink of repeating a deadly mistake (World War) for the lust of power...

I am playing the USA release of the SNES version of this game on zSNES emulator. I own multiple copies of this game on SNES, PSX, and GBA of course, along with the original Strategy Guide (Back when those were sweet as hell. Yes, I'm hipster for strat guides)
This always seems to be a common question so I like to get that out of the way in case somebody wants to pick the game up to play.
