Hello everyone and welcome to part 5 of my Let's Play of Final Fantasy VII!

In the last episode, Cloud had just finished his disguise, so he and Aeris entered Don Corneo's mansion. There they found Tifa who told them what she was planning.

Earlier, Barret had caught one of the Don's thugs and managed to squeeze some info out of him. Don Corneo is involved with Shinra somehow, and Tifa wanted to find out what. So that's why she entered his mansion pretending to become his bride. Now with Aeris and the lovely disguised Cloud, they could be certain to get picked. Cloud got picked.

Cloud played for time until Tifa and Aeris arrived, and the questioning could begin. Don Corneo and his thugs had found AVALANCHE's hideout and passed the information to Shinra. Now, Shinra was planning to break the supports of the plate above Sector 7 to crush it all. But just as they tried to leave to stop it all, Don opened a trap door below them.

Cloud, Tifa and Aeris ended up in the sector sewers, and after that, the train graveyard. Eventually they managed to get to the supporting pillar, where Barret was fighting Shinra soldiers alongside Biggs, Wedge and Jessie. Tifa asked Aeris to get Marlene, and then joined Cloud up the stairs towards Barret.

Just as Cloud and Tifa rejoined Barret, Reno of the TURKS appeared and set the charge for destroying the supporting pillar. They fought and Reno was defeated, but wasn't able to disable the charge. Then a helicopter appeared with Tseng, the leader of the TURKS. He had captured Aeris, finally having caught the Ancient they've been chasing for so long.

Then they flew off, leaving Cloud, Tifa and Barret as the destruction sequence started. They managed to escape using a cable, but the plate fell, crushing Sector 7...
