Hello everyone and welcome to the third episode of my Space Quest V Let's Play!

In the last episode, Roger was just leaving the Academy Crest he had cleaned when the computer processing the SAT scores had a rodent themed accident. Meanwhile Beatrice Wankmeister had a meeting with some Starcon higher-ups. Beactrice was on the Academy as an ambassador, pleading for help from Starcon to find Sludge Bandits in their quadrant. Quirk was fast to get on the task, taking Beatrice with him.

Roger then found out the SAT scores was ready and read his results. He had passed with flying colors, and after a weekend captain's training seminar, he was shuttled to his new command, The SCS Eureka. Turns out, it was a garbage scow, go figure. He met up with his crew: Droole, the trigger-happy Nav/Weapons technician, Flo, the man hating comms specialist, and Cliffy, the chief engineer (only engineer). After checking the ship, Roger got to the bridge to get his first orders as a starship captain.

He was ordered to carry out some refuse recovery missions, or picking up trash. Completing their first pickup, the crew noticed a life-form in the waste compartment. Roger had an inspection and was introduced to a face-hugging creature. Instant taking a liking to the little thing, he named him Spike. Spike then went on to wreak havoc and burning holes everywhere with his acid remains. Roger went to pick him up and put him in the ships habitube, with some anti-acid tablets.

And with that taken care of, we rejoin the crew as they continue their mission to pick up more trash...

Thank you for watching, and see you soon!
