Let's Play Final Fantasy VII Part 65 {Ruby Weapon}
0Taking on the 2nd and final Super Boss of the game,Ruby Weapon. You have to enter this fight with 2 party members dead,otherwise they'll be ejected from the battle automatically. Just revive them quickly with Phoenix. Now this fight is kinda dull. Ruby Weapon is resistant to most forms of attack,making both physical and magical attacks useless. The only thing that hurts it normally are the Bahamuts and the Knights of the Round summons. I don't actually have KotR yet,but thanks to defeating Emerald,the Master Summon Materia gives us access to it. Keep using that and use Mime from the Master Command Materia to dish out the damage twice. Ruby Weapon can actually be paralyzed temporarily,so if you have the Dazer items,you can keep it stunned! Just beware it's tentacles. They deal HP and MP damage,statue effects,and can't be harmed at all. Ruby Ray also confuses it's target,so a Ribbon or 2 really helps out. You get a Desert Rose for winning,which nets you a free Gold Chocobo!
