Chapter 6: Blood of Pride. Lyn and company arrive at Araphen. They hope to meet with the Marquess and ask for assistance in reaching Caelin. However,a fire has spread throughout the city,and the Marquess has been accosted by ruffians. A Nomad named Rath ends up saving Lyn from an enemy attack and joins the group. Lyn can recruit a Thief named Matthew by visiting a nearby red building. Matthew can Steal certain items from enemies and pick open doors with his Lockpicks. You can also open doors if you find Door Keys. There are 3 pressure switches that you have to stand on to clear the chapter. The first opens the path to a treasure chest with an Angelic Robe within it,this increases a unit's HP when used. The 2nd switch reveals the boss of this chapter,Bool. He's a Knight with a Steel Lance. His defense is strong,making most of your units do pitiful damage to him. Erk however can pierce through his defenses with his spells,making him the ideal unit to deal with him. After the fight,the Marquess ends up refusing to aid Lyndis because of her heritage. Rath leaves him and gives Gold to Lyndis instead,and joins her cause.
