0Chapter 5: Beyond the Borders. Lyn's group finally reaches the edge of Lycia. Unfortunately for them,the Bandits chasing them have no intention of giving up. Before the battle,a traveling Mage and Cleric end up caught in the crossfire. Talk to Erk and Serra with Lyn and they will join your army. Magical attacks from Mages can pierce through an enemy's defenses,though they tend to be squishy defense and HP wise. Clerics can't fight at all,but can heal other units with their Staves. There's really not many enemies to deal with in this stage,so there's not much to worry about here. Just remember your Weapon Triangle so you don't get into trouble. The Armory here sells Javelins,Hand Axes,and Iron Bows should you need any. The boss of this chapter is called Bug,another Steel Axe wielding Bandit. You could get up close and personal with a Sword,but he also doesn't move at all. Attacking with Wil or Erk from afar would get you easy experience points. Erk and Serra join the army after the fight is over.
