I kinda wanted to make this video series funnier and more entertaining. That's why I went into an almost impossible battle. A shame I lost 6 hours of total training (but probably only four because I would recruit Soldiers and Warriors at the same time). I can't (I can, but not easily) wait until I get Archery, trust me, Archers are SOOOOOOO good. Only Ballistas, Mercenaries (Early Middle Ages), Catapults (Early Middle Ages), Crossbowmen (High Middle Ages), and their Late Middle Ages/Colonial Age equivalents can stand a chance against them. Fine, Archers don't stand a chance against... was it Rangers? I don't know. But they're short range from the Colonial Age. I would say the Archer is the best Iron Age unit, even better than Mounted Archers (Early Middle Ages Short Range, only any good for distance), and probably as good as Legionnaires, the Iron Age heavy Infantry, with 16 defence (Armored Infantry have 17).
