Greetings and salutations everyone! Welcome to the 9th episode in my second Series/Season playthrough of Galactic Civilizations 3: Mercenaries

(1.61 and possibly 1.7....starbase updates...WOOOO!)

Just so we are clear, in a section of this video I thank bernie 'the socialist' sanders for the money I got in game. I do not support Sanders in the slightest. I also do not support the redistribution of wealth. This is a game people, don't get too bent about it.

So! What was my major accomplishment in this episode? Well, that would have to be getting the 3 mercs! The first, a colony ship, was able to turn a DEAD world into a class 16! HOLY CRAP BATMAN! That is just an amazing mechanic! I love it! AND! The fact that its in the game means that someone can mod and create a NEW module that could do it and allow players to construct it! Talk about game changing!

Anyway that merc was great, turned a 4 planet system into a 5 planet system! STARBASES OP!

The other two mercs gave me 150% to research and manufacturing, so I just moved them to the highest producing planets for their respective bonuses. BOOM! Went up by about 100 points to both research and production!

But how was I able to get all this money to do that? Well, Ill tell you! The UP voted to have the richest race lose 25% of its money and distribute it to everyone else. Couple that with my shakedown of some of the minor races and I had enough to do what I wanted.

And that mega even bro...just wow. Giving me 3 colonizable planets? WIN! So yeah, that was an event I have never seen before and if I had a webcam you would have seen mah jaw drop!

So what is my plan from here? Well, I plan on taking two more terran planets, getting another minor race in my territory, bulking up my starbases by a metric sh**ton, getting max pop on all my planets, getting the correct number of shipyards (I do 5 for each shipyard and then build another one when two planets are not sponsoring....which I haven't done yet) and finally, getting some large ships out to help beat the Terrans down.
