Report them, it helps out the Destiny community to report abusive player chat. When the match is over, you can look back at the team, left click on the profile and there you can report. Most punishment can be 2 week suspension of Matchmade activities to just banned.

Other advice, mute players, or hit L key and have all text muted from the activity. Remember it's just a video game, so it's better to play it however it makes you feel comfortable.
