This best way to describe this game is Turn Based tactics strategy RPG game similar to Darkness Dungeons. The base building aspect for the Goblin Lair is like X-Com: Enemy Unknown where you build various rooms that provide different functions. Assemble an adventure party of up to 6 Goblins to complete the Story Quest objectives or just an expedition to gather more resources, find treasures, rescue goblins to improve your Goblin Lair and future runs. Going on adventures with Rookie goblins can get them to Veteran status for harvesting Souls Points (used for upgrades). Goblins can have various guild classes with unique special abilities. These abilities/skills are used in battles. This game has a unique Breeding mechanic that allows you to find and mix match goblin genetic traits. Think of it like finding and collecting rare Pokemons and then breeding them to get the best combinations and stats. Genetic traits are perks that can be used to customize your goblin class build. Overall though, I really enjoyed this game! I definitely recommend getting Goblin Stone.
