Let's Play Grounded Ep.22 The Splinter King
17On the twenty-second episode of Let's Play Grounded, we're on the hunt for some particular Upper Yard critters. But before we track them down, I return to the Coal Bag to learn the secrets of the Spicy Coaltana. After proving ourselves worthy by fending off the irate Ladybird Larvae, we head on up to the Orchid Bush and discover another boss arena. Then, through sheer dumb luck/misfortune, I fall through the porch and land right on a surprise Green Shield Bug in the darkness. With the stinky bug slain, our next target is a Termite King, so it's back to the Woodpile. We were driven out last time by the sheer mass of Termite bodies, but with our new gear I'm able to push deep into the tunnels. We locate the lair of the Termite King, only to be slain by Isopteran royalty. Undeterred, I return and slay the splintery sovereign, as well as claim the Woodpile BURG.L Chip. With the episode goals complete, I do a quick look around the top of the Woodpile, and peek into a spider hole before returning home to craft our new flaming blade.
