On the ninth part of my journey down The Long Drive's long road, we've killed a sick man and looted his diner/gas station. Hitting the road in our crusty Škoda 100 once more, my goal is to replace our car as soon as possible with pretty much any other one. Of course, that means finding a vehicle in the wasteland with tires, an engine, and a gas tank that ISN'T full of water/oil/blood/urine. We find a bunch of vehicles along the way that don't quite fit these criteria, including a car transport truck that would have been interesting to drive. I also learn how to escape from wells full of trash after jumping into them multiple times. But eventually after collecting a number of supplies (and human body parts) our road leads us to an Ikarus 280 in drive-able shape. Despite my misgivings about a bus leading to the run going too smoothly, I decide to give it a chance to not be boring. And so, the Partybus is born, ready to be festooned in limbs.
