Let's Play Harry Potter CoS (PS1) - Part 16/18 (Lots of fail)
This time I fail miserably and bitch about old issues, most of which nobody (me included) gives a damn about - primarily because this was recorded like a year ago or something, not sure when but the video was rendered late and that is dated October 26th last year. The masters, serving no more purpose, have long since been erased so I cannot check the date on those and I also know the first part was rendered late on, the later parts were rendered in three batches - for example, part 12-18 were rendered in one go from a single project instead of individually. Parts 7-11 were another batch and prior to that parts 2-6, the first one was from its own project and served to optimize the template. At this point I am definitely thinking I will try to complete more of Duke Nukem II when this game is done and I may start RotH when N3D is done... Or not, we'll see. Also looking into making a small video for my main channel but I have to repair a piece of hardware, this hardware is proving very stubborn - stands to reason I suppose, given the nature of the hardware is to make a motherboard do things the manufacturer probably didn't intend it to do.
As for this game, technically there's only one more part left with anything worthwhile because part 18 is just the credits and me dicking around. So to all intents and purposes, we're about done here and the end is in sight. I kind of regret ever starting this damn game, I never liked it and I still don't.
Back on the batch rendering, this game was the first one to use it. Nitemare 3D was done similarly, in that the first part was rendered alone from its own project and then the settings were used to batch render parts 2-9 in one go, the tenth part was recorded and rendered later. I never did make that video on how I do this stuff, maybe I will some day.
