Let's Play (In HD)...Hawken PC Beta!
0My first match in the AWESOME PC mech shooter HAWKEN. This is one of the best Free-To-Play games I've ever seen. It's right up there with TF2 and Blacklight Retribution, and in my humble opinion, this obliterates Mechwarrior Online, which I was a little disappointed with (although I will probably record footage of it at some point).
Footage captured at about 5am on 16th December 2012 when I couldn't sleep, so please forgive the slightly erratic camera / mouse movements. I then realised that the game supported XBox 360 controllers, so I jumped onto using one of those for the majority of the video!
I thought I'd jump right in with a video to keep the gameplay footage "raw". I did play through the controls tutorial first, but this footage is from my first ever match.
The graphics are lovely, the game runs smooth as silk (100-120fps), and there's enough customisation and mech building options to keep me satisfied!
