This game was played in the "beast" difficulty and the focus was on a normal or slow playthrough without rushing. The game includes various elements of other games of its genre.
There are different puzzles. Some are based on simple environmental topics, like moving boxes/ladders and finding tools to open certain doors. Others are based on deciphering in various forms, which is clearly the outstanding part of this game. There are a skill based lock-picking mechanic, bossfights, elements of stealthing, escape mechanisms, a storyline through multiple timelines and even some ghost busters flair.
Overall the game has a lot of elements and sometimes I asked myself the question what kind of game it wants to be. At the end I am entertained and I can recommend this game.
