Ishar - Legend of the Fortress is the first game of the Ishar trilogy, but also a sequel to Crystals of Arborea. So the storys connect to each other.
Ishar, like it's prequel, was created and published by Silmarils.
The game came out on different system and I'm going to play the Amiga version and to be precise I'm going to play the AGA version which came out for the Amiga 1200 in 1993.
Ishar has some mechanics which were very unique during the time it came out and we will see how good those mechanics are and how good the game holds up.
While I do play the game by myself as much as I can, I do use a guide to help me out.
Here is the link to said guide: https://www.oldgames.sk/docs/ishar/1/
While we discovered a way to get to the other side of the river (albeit by accident) we still have to gather some things and explore some places before we can move on. We find a peculiar spot where we see nothing upon entering.
Can we do something about it and do we find anything else?
