K240 is a game from 1994 that consumed an enormous amount of my time. It's Sim City on asteroids, but with enemy cities you have to kill.

The first enemy is... unremarkable. The only interesting thing I can say about them is that their Queen's Chamber is the toughest building in the game, but considering their failure to build any defences of any kind in this game, that doesn't matter very much.

Trivia: In space, loud noises (such as explosions) are even louder, because there is no air to get in the way of the sound.
